It's a bit bulky for those stuff-it-in-your-jacket and go out with the kids moments. And I don't take it off auto often enough. But that latter issue is me, not the camera. It actually takes pretty nice pictures in any of the automatic settings, so I don't fuss with it much. I also have a Canon, the A610.
