by looking out the window at the snow that’s coming down right now. I was out running errands this afternoon, and on the drive home I was kinda glad I hadn’t taken off the snow tires yet. Yuck…this is not April weather. This is the second day in a row that it’s snowed. It’s very hard to deal with after the very nice warm weekend we had.
My job search is progressing. The first company, which I was supposed to hear back from last week, still hasn’t decided who they want to hire. They’re thinking maybe sometime early next week they’ll know. The second company wants to have me back for a second interview, and that’s tentatively scheduled for the 19th. Finally got an interview with the third company, and that interview went very well. It’s pretty much the same job I had in Tucson, except with a short term focus of figuring out how the company needs to be dealing with the European RoHS lead-free directive (which probably doesn’t mean much to most of you). They’re supposed to get back to me by the end of the week. I’m not gonna hold my breath though…it will probably be more like late next week when I hear from them. I’m finding it very hard to deal with this job search time line. Now that I’ve decided to go back to work, I want to go back to work now, and sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring is very frustrating. Doesn’t someone need my help right now?
Not much else going on in Schiererville. There’s lots more yard work to be done, but that can’t happen until the snow melts again. Now I must go and try to repair a fingernail that’s starting to break. If it breaks off where it’s starting to, it’s going to be very painful. Hopefully I can prevent that until it grows out some. Highly doubtful though.

We moved from MA to TN almost 9 years ago and haven’t missed the cold or the snow. The downside is that I’ve already had to cut the grass twice but I guess that beats shoveling snow.
Good luck with the job search.
