Wow, this week has been busy! Work was good for the most part. like a first week in just about any place, I spent a lot of time trying to get acclimated to the place. Lots of reading trying to figure out what exactly this RoHS thing is. Soooo much information to poor over. And I’ve had to refamiliarize my self with the latest circuit card manufacturing techniques and issues. I really wish I had kept up with my professional publications over the last three years…that would have made this week a little easier. But i’m enjoying it, I didn’t realize I missed working as much as I did. let’s hope that continues! I’d forgotten just what a pain it is to have to run errands after work, always so crowded, and the grocery store was out of like half the stuff I needed. what a pain.
I entered the Ultimate Digi-scrapper contest over at digiscrappin.biz, which in the end just ended up adding more stress to my first week of work. The first week’s entry was due tongiht, and I didn’t even think about starting it until last night. Got my layout finished about an hour ago, go on over and take a look. I’ll be surprised if I make it out of the first round. I’m not really happy with my layout. It’s OK, just not great. We were supposed to use our best photo (that we personally took) and make a layout that highlighted it. One of the problems for me is that Chris takes most of the photos. His are always way better than mine. Anyway, I’ll know on Sunday if I’m moving to the next round.
