I’ve always found the step-by-step line drawings of knots to be really hard to understand, despite being pretty handy with many knots. This website changes all of that.
Each knot is shown in a slide-show sort of animation that makes it very clear where the rope ends go. Also, there is discussion on the history and uses of each knot. Nicely done.
