K had an appointment today with her doctor, and things look pretty good. He’s starting to be concerned with her hyper-tension, but there’s no reason to be overly concerned yet. Essentially, the amount of fluid around the baby has reduced considerably, yet K has added lots of water (she complains of feeling like a balloon). He wants to see her again after two days of resting and long soaks in the tub. If the fluid hasn’t normalized, then he warned her that he’ll probably start a process to induce.
We expressed concern that we didn’t want things to be advanced to aggressively, and he seems to agree. Ultimately, we want to avoid any intervetions that are not completely necessary. Stay tuned, there’s always an adventure at the Schierer household it seems.
Oh, I took the day off from work today, and other than a continuous annoying tickle in my throat causing ineffective and painful coughing, I feel really good. Somewhat tired, but heck I have something like 5 holes in my body that are healing over. The bandages can come off tomorrow evening, and I think that will feel pretty good.
Thanks again to everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Kristin and me!
Out of the frying pan…

More prayers coming your way (angled a bit more toward Kristin now). And, this time (http://alleghator.blogspot.com/2007/05/drives-me-nuts.html), it should be “and me.”
